JAMB Deadline For 2020/2021 Admissions Exercise

JAMB Deadline For 2020/2021 Admissions Exercise

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the deadline for admission exercise into the various tertiary institutions for the 2020/2021 academic session. This was contained in a statement earlier made available by JAMB.

This decision was collectively taken at a virtual meeting with Heads of Tertiary Institutions in the country which was held earlier in the year

According to the JAMB Registrar,  after a robust and insightful deliberation, members collectively agreed that all public universities (Federal and State universities) are expected to finish their admissions on or before 15th May, 2021, while the private universities and all IEIs, polytechnics and COEs would complete theirs at the agreed date of 15th June 2021.

This means that public universities are expected to complete their admission process and release all admission lists on or before May 15th, 2021 while private universities and all IEIs, polytechnics and COEs would do the same on or before June 15th, 2021.

We do not know if there will be any change concerning the dates at the moment, however, according to Prof.Oloyede, the chosen deadlines remained sacrosanct and binding on all institutions as the Board would not tolerate any breaches of the collective decision reached at the meeting.
